Liquid CO2 and N2 for Temperature Control
Distributing Seafood Safely with Cryogenic Gases
Cooling Power - Where You Need it
Removing heat with carbon dioxide (CO2) snow is an economical, precise way to cool your fish and seafood products at any point in your production and distribution chain.
CO2 snow - also known as dry ice - is made by reducing the pressure and temperature of liquid CO2 till it converts into a clean, white snow. This snow can then be compressed under high pressure to form blocks, slices and pellets.
Because dry ice has no taste or smell, is non-poisonous and non-flammable, it is an ideal and highly effective cooling and freezing agent for seafood. It is particularly convenient for in-transit cooling of temperature-sensitive products such as fish, where power supply can be an issue. Once seafood leaves your plant, CO2 snow can thus help to ensure an uninterrupted cold chain right up to the consumer.
As one of the leading suppliers of dry ice, we offer a range of flexible, one-stop solutions that leverage the cooling power of CO2 snow for the refrigeration of seafood. Our dispensing devices are available in a wide range of sizes and types, so there is a snow delivery system to meet your needs.
Our solutions enable you to precisely deliver the amount of snow you need to your seafood product for immediate chilling or preparation prior to shipping. In addition, our snow particles are extremely consistent and uniform for extremely effective cooling.
All of our dry ice products and services comply with the latest HACCP rules and regulations and we are gradually moving towards more environmentally aware packaging options.
